For each individual paraglider model, we can offer you special ICARO
motor risers which have been developed observing specifications for
motored flight. ICARO motor risers have many functional details and are
an optimal partner for free flight, backpack motor, trike or “flyke”.
Wheather installed at ICARO or bought as an optional accssory, ICARO
motor risers are very successful for paramotoring and at the same time
can also be used for free-flight.
We supply helmets for paramotor also here. They are elegantly designed
and have many function details. For further details and also for
information about the new SKYRIDER helmet, please refer to “helmets”
*the trimmer (1) can be operated easily and provides optimal adaption
to the airspeed. A small asymmetrical adjustment to both trimmers
balances the torqe of the engine. Bothersome one-sided balancing of the
brake is gone.

Quality Management:
Our company was the first in this sector to successfully achieve
quality management certification ISO 9001. This QMS not only guarantees
perfect products but also optimal internal company structure with

Materials:
ICARO uses only materials which have been tried and tested over time.
All materials used to produce our paragliders are made in EU (NCV,
Edelrid, Liros, Mailln Rapide, Ackermann, Güth & Wolf).
Workmanship:
Since 2005, ICARO has set a new standard in workmanship: all exposed
cut edges in the inner wing are sewn down, supporting seams are secured
on the profile, and thin lines at the loops have a kevlar inner core.
Tolerances in line lengths, leading and trailing edge measurements are
probably the lowest on the market. The common problem of two identical
wings with completely diffeent flight behavior does not exist for ICARO
customers.

Innovation:
ICARO chooses to integrate intelligent innovations in our wings,
without huge financial output in tam-tam advertising. We prefer to
invest in development. The list of ICARO innovations is long: Air
intake flaps along the leading edge, closed cells with fortification on
the profile nose, super light construction for the inner wing, dynema
lines with Kevlar inner core at the loops, race risers with special
accelerator, flow simulation with CFX, sail calculation in fully
inflated state, partly elastic pull cable and many many small details.
We also have a real XS size built especially for lightweight pilots,
not just a scaled down S size with the typical loss of performance.
Security:
There has never been cause for the DHV to issue a secureity
notification or a ban on quality certification for the ICARO
Paragliders.
